Based on ministry of energy and mineral resources (2017), Indonesia is one of the countries that have the largest bauxite reserves in the world, the number reaches 2,4 billion tons with reserves reaching 422 years. Bauxite which is processed into alumina is the basic material for making aluminum metal required by the downstream industry.
